This businesses company is the main supporter of the hipergate working group. A legal businesses company has more flexibility in some legal subjects in Spain that a simple professionals community, so we decided to give all copyrights to KnowGate in order to better defend the interests of the project.
Software
Software developed by the hipergate working group is released under the Affero GNU/GPL v3 License.
Documentation
User Manuals, JavaDocs, technical articles, HOWTOs and any other documentation created by the hipergate working group are released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs-NonCommercial License. You are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work under the following conditions:
• You must give the original author credit
• You may not use this work for commercial purposes
• You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work
For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others this license terms. Any of these conditions can be waived if you get permission from us.
Other contents of this website
Some contents of this website are posts recieved from users not belonging to the hipergate working group. The hipergate working group may not share the opinions of the posts shown in this website, but our spirit is make the ideas exchange as fluent as possible. Nevertheless, we keep the right to remove any ofensive, illegal or off-topic material.
Contributors
Contributions made to hipergate by anyone outside the hipergate working group must be released under the terms and conditions of the original material. Each license refer to what is a contribution, a derived work and an independ job.
Contributors may give the copyrights of their material to the hipergate working group. They still keep credit for they work, but the full copyrights are transferred to the hipergate working group and annexed to the hipergate software/documentation distribution. Keeping a single holder help us to have a unique entity against copyright and license violations.
